What is the team motto or team attitude?

The team’s attitude is the love the game. We want to be competitive while staying relaxed. It’s not as delicate a balance as one would thing. We don’t allow jerks (though jerks in recovery are okay). We probably play in more tournaments than any other club in Texas. Pretty much if there’s a tournament in Texas we’re going. We always try to bring the right kind of team to the right tournaments. More relaxed teams we bring more “rookies” etc.

Where did the team name come from? They began playing on Auditorium shores on the River’s side.

What's the farthest the team has traveled for a tournament? Colorado Cup, Tulsa Baton Rouge

What are some of the highlights from the team's history? We have only ever won two tournaments (Riverfest in San Marcos, Equinox in West Texas). We’ve been runners up at others including our own recent Historic Riverside Ultimate Classic. But we’re all about playing above all.

What are the short- or long-term goals? To play and improve but both for the love of the game.

Is the team currently seeking more players? Always.

Anything else? Life for Ultimate. Ultimate for life. Riverside is more than a team. It’s a community. We have 3 pickup games during parts of the year (Tuesday, Thursday at Zilker. Saturday at Sanchez during the offseason; all still next to the River) so we’re very inclusive. We have 3 teams. R1 and R2 who are the traveling teams that practice regularly. And MOT, messengers of Truth who are pretty much just a pickup team for sectionals.

Every year between Christmas and New Year’s we have a great tradition: beer in hand. If you haven’t done that, come and join.

Oh and we have the best looking guys.
