February 2010 President's Corner

Winter League is coming to a close and what a great season it has been. From the novel gamers theme to the spirited parties to the delicious food to the intense ultimate. Hopefully we could get some good weather for the league tournament to cap it all off.

No league takes more volunteer work than Winter League. Volunteers make this league run! I’d like to thank a few of the volunteers that have played a significant role in helping make Winter League 2010 so amazing.

Thank you, Paul for heading the league up this year. Less visibly Bill M, Gary, Wags, Hunter, David Stump and Chad Stewart all played huge behind the scenes roles.

Thanks to all the captains for leading your teams.

And for the day of stuff (lining fields, water and coolers, draft, tables, party organizing) a Stephen Reidmiller, Irene, Bob Dooley, Street, Egon, Brock Bouchard, Cheng, Splat, Davy, Maggie, Mariah Smith, Cindy, Kyle Killen.
