It is that time of year again, Winter is almost here... well, Winter League is at least!  UPLA is excited to announce this year's league will be hosted at a fantastic new field site, where all teams will be in the same location and there are more resources on site.  We look forward to  a great, competitive league this year!


Don't forget, you first register for the UPLA website.  Once you are registered with the site, every league, tournament, or other event we host you will simply log in and sign up for that particular event when registration opens up.

Pluckers Donating to AWL!!!

But only if we eat there: From now until the end of February, Pluckers will donate 20% of whatever is spent by customers who say they would like to donate to the Ultimate Players League of Austin. Eat there lots, the league is counting on this fundraiser to make up for the lack of donations this year. Also, wings + beer + big TVs with sports playing = Ultimate players' perfect dinner. We aren't asking you to eat wings every night (unless you wanna ;) but definitely make it out this month!

THe two locations who have partnered with us are the South Lamar location, nice and central, and the Lakeline Mall location, for those who wanna go eat some wings after playing on Sunday! See the flier above (and ignore the typo in our name, we will have a fixed one shortly)

Friday, Dec. 9th 7pm-10pm (or later!): Winter League Kickoff Party!

     - At Wahoo's Fish Tacos, 509 Rio Grande St (west of downtown near Whole Foods

     - Come supprt your team at the kickoff party, the team with the most members in attendance as of 8:15 PM gets first chioce in jersey color! Don't be the team with   the least amount of people, or you may get stuck with the a color you don't want.

    - Famous Vodka will have specials, details will come soon

    - Excellent choices for dinner, beer, margaritas, etc.
