Dates/Times
The league starts on December 11th, 2011 and runs through February 12th, 2012. Regular play dates are Dec 11th, 18th, Jan 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd. The Tournament date is January 29th. In case of a rain out on the 29th, we will make up the tournament on the 12th of February.
Games will be on Sunday afternoons, Round 1 starts at 1pm sharp, Round 2 at 2:30 and at 4pm there is a Showcase game (simultaneous with serving of food and beer.)
Tournament schedule will be along the lines of 12:30-6, with 3-4 rounds, but is still TBD.
Location
Games will be held at Brushy Creek Sports Park, 2310 Brushy Creek Road (Google map directions from UT Intramural Fields for reference:http://g.co/maps/46wqr) where all 6 fields are together!
The location is easily reached by taking Mopac north then 183 N for about eight miles. Next, take the exit for Lakeline Mall Dr, then merge onto Research Blvd. After about a mile, turn right onto Avery Ranch Blvd. Less than two miles down you will turn left onto FM 734 W/W Parmer Ln and left again in 0.7 miles onto Brushy Creek Rd. The park entrance will be on your left very shortly after turning, you can't miss it!

Out of town or busy three or more weeks of Winter League? Don't sweat it! Sign up for Pay-to-Play the weeks you are in town, we almost always need people to sub each week. Go to the Pay-to-Play tab above for instructions.
Interested in co-captianing a team this league? Email austinwinterleague (at) gmail (dot) com to show your interest! The draft will be held Sunday, Dec 4th, only one captain per team needs to be there, but of course both attending is ideal.

Q: When are games?
A: Sundays at 1:00pm & 2:30pm, Showcase at 4:00 while food and drinks served. Dec 11th, 18th, Jan 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd. Make-up day in case of rain is Jan 29th. League Tournament is on Feb 12. (We are skipping Super Bowl Sunday (Feb 5th) altogether, you're welcome.)
Q: I heard there's a draft. Is there a chance I won't get drafted?
A: Never, everyone who signs up is drafted to a team. Sign up as soon as possible, though, because the league is capped at a certain number of players. We will have a waitlist once full, in case of something weird happening.
Q: What if I can only make 4 weeks?
A: You should use our Pay-to-Play system. It's $8 each time, and you get all the perks - food, drinks, insurance coverage, etc, just no gear.
Q: Ok so Pay-to-Play...Do I just show up?
A: Nope, we have an online system here on our web site to register and pay each week for P2P. Once you have signed up, you'll get an email Saturday telling you which team you're assigned to and what color to wear. Then you show up ready to play!
Q: What do I get for my league fee?
A: -Food and drinks each day after Round 2
