What are the team's origins/When was the team started?
The women's B team began as Aikona in fall of 2005 with a bit of a rough start. The name was changed to Mayhem in the fall of 2006 as kind of a new beginning. Mayhem qualified for regionals in the series that spring of 2007, which is a huge accomplishment for a women's B team.

What is the team motto or team attitude?
Ain't No Party Like A Mayhem Party!!!! The Mayhem attitude is very lax and fun loving. We just wanna keep Mayhem Weird. :)
Where did the team name come from?
One of the girls came up with it. It sounds a bit like our A team's name "melee". We had a voting session to decide on the name out of several.
What's the farthest the team has traveled for a tournament?
I think the farthest we have been is Columbia, Missouri. We played in the snow there this spring.
What are some of the highlights from the team's history?
Making regionals both years! Just having a women's b team is a really big accomplishment. And we're getting better so fast!
What are the short- or long-term goals?
We want to focus on building the team. Its hard to get girls interested in playing and even harder to get them to stick with the team. Mayhem is all about teaching new players to love the sport of Ultimate, and I think that's a pretty good short and long term goal.
Is the team currently seeking more players?
We're always seeking new players!!! the turnover rate is huge for a college team, especially a second team. Both Mayhem and Melee need new players every year. Attend UT? Come out and play!!!

practices are usually tuesday and thursday nights from 6-9. and saturday from 10-1. no experience necessary! come join us!
