What are the team's origins/When was the team started? Started in the spring of 2000 as Lady Marmalade

What is the team motto or team attitude? It's all about Melee
Where did the team name come from? Lady Marmalade --> Melee
What's the farthest the team has traveled for a tournament? We travel around the nation every year to compete. We travel to cities such as Las Vegas, Palo Alto, and Kansas City.
What are some of the highlights from the team's history? Cara Crouch, the current team coach, won the Callahan. Another exciting moment for Melee was advancing to the Semis of Natties 2005.
What are the short- or long-term goals? The long term goal of Melee is to build the south region and the south region's ultimate community. The short term goals focus on rebuilding our team after losing 11 seniors this past year. Another significant goal is to build Mayhem (the second UT Women's team), and see the team thrive.
Is the team currently seeking more players? YES. All UT women interested in playing should come to tryout! We are always looking for fun, althletic, hard-working individuals for the team. Whether you're looking for a more competitive atmosphere, such as Melee, or a bit more relaxed, such as Mayhem, there is always room for more!
