This (and every) Memorial Day weekend, there is a wonderful tournament that takes place in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. (SLP)
The exact dates in 2010 are May 29-30.
This tournament invites players from all over Mexico (and Austin, Texas) to participate in this well-organized and intimate tradition that will make you feel like part of “la familia.” This warm and friendly Ultimate event promises to deliver a vibe you won’t get on any Ultimate field anywhere else.
This is also the most economical trip to Mexico you can possibly make. Because there are no cheap airfares to SLP, there are basically two options for traveling there. One is by car, which several players have done before, and the other is by bus. Total cost for this tourney can be pulled off for less than $230. That includes round-trip travel, food, lodging and tournament fees.
