Spring League

Austin Spring League is your best choice for a competitive and casual, beginner-friendly league. Just as the name suggests, Austin Spring League happens every spring around March, April and May-ish.

Spring League is a coed hat-league. This means players sign-up as individuals (or with a buddy) and are assigned to teams based on their skill and experience level.

In 2009, league games were played on Sundays at the YMCA East (the same location as Winter League).

Spring League is a great league to invite new players- your friends, family and co-workers -because the atmosphere is generally less competitive than either Summer or Winter League. Get it straight, yo…teams ARE competing to win! The difference between Spring League and the other leagues is that many of the more experienced and intense players do not participate in Spring League because their teams have scheduled tournaments on the weekends during this time.

So, relax. Have some fun. Come on out to learn and play Ultimate with some great folks from all around Austin. There will be designated hang-outs for everyone after the games are over, too. It’s fun and will whip you into shape at the same time.
