2012 USAU Texas High School Ultimate Championship

May 4, 2012 UPDATE:
Please everyone drive careful on your travels to the tournament. We are all set and check in will begin at 8:30am sharp.
The UT Womens' Ultimate team is having a "meet-n-greet" for ALL of our female participants at 1:00pm on Saturday. Don't miss that.
Please bring something to put water in. Bring sunscreen and a hat. Forecast is for hot and sunny and of course WIND.
Just returned form the fields and they are looking prime for the biggest HS Ultimate in Texas.

The brackets were shuffled slightly to accomadate a few teams with prom on Saturday night.
We are over the 350 player mark. Wahoo !!! But now I need more food.

Hyde Park and Round Rock are in to make 20 teams committed to the 2012 Texas High School Championship.
March 23, 2012 Update:
We are going to 20 teams. The 5 teams on the waiting list have been notified and 2 teams will be added to make a total of 20 teams at the 2012 Texas High School Championship. BANG.
March 19, 2012 Update:
We are now at 18 teams confirmed
Everybody,
1. Now that we are all back from spring break it's time to start thinking about the HS Championship. We are now at 18 teams confirmed thanks to JJ Pearce and Colleyville from the Dallas area jumping in. I have 2 more on the waitlist so we might be at 20 teams total. Come on Klein Collins and Manor.
2. Please EVERYBODY go to the USAU site and start your rosters NOW so I have all the team names and contacts entered. I will be working on formatting and seeding through Scorereporter and it really helps. You have plenty of time to add and edit players on the roster but at a minimum get the roster started. Thank you.
3. Get you chaperone approval process completed ASAP and add them to your roster so USAU can verify them and not yell at me and you later. Please do this NOW.

Thanks everyone for taking care of their parts so I can do mine and make this event the biggest and best it can be. Looking forward to a truly Texas size event.
March 12, 2012 Update:
We are FULL at 16 teams and we have 2 teams on the waiting list. I challenge everyone to come up with 2 more teams. Contact everyone you know. If teams are large enough to have an A and B team let me know.
